HAPPINESS IS ANOTHER MYSTERY

Bonnie at Quiltville is posting another mystery to start on New Years Eve. (doing happy dance).

These are the fabrics I bought when I was at quilt camp back in Sept. Couldn't figure out what to do with them and then Bonnie came to my rescue. What do you think. It is hard to see the light (background fabric) and may not use it. It is a tone on tone (beige with lighter beige design). It is not as stark as it looks here. Her pattern calls for the brown and can't decide if the brown design or the solid would be better to use.

What's your opinion? Open to suggestion!

Have a Happy New Year!

I like the solid brown. I am not sure if I know which one is your background fabric either. I am going to join this mystery also. I have yet to pull my fabrics but I am excited about this one.

Look real good to me . . . I ran out to Rossville on my way to my brother's today. Moda has a real light green in their new "Shimmer" line that might be just the ticket. It's like the "fairy frost" fabrics. I have a charm square packet which includes it, but I don't know if Marcia has it all on the bolts. Also, it might be a little too "formal" for the rest of the fabrics. But, I do love those colors!

Oh I LOVE them! I love them! I think it would work really well! I guess I would wait to see how big or small the brown pieces will be. If they are smaller use the more solid brown. If bigger then the print. If you use the solid brown you could use the print for the border - taht would be awesome!

I love your choice of fabrics. I would use the solid brown, I think, or maybe not. I'm no help at all!
